We love what we do and we love that our staff loves what they do, too! We have said it a million times over, we have AMAZING staff and we appreciate their hard work and dedication, tremendously!
We wanted to shake things up this month by offering a small glimpse into the life of one of our awesome employees! This month we are shedding some light on the ever intriguing, Ashly.
Ashly has worked for us for coming up on TEN YEARS! How great is that?! And she is an intricate part of our front office team. Those of you who visit our office regularly have probably seen her lovely face a time or two and may have even heard her singing. 🙂
Get ready to learn a few things that you probably don’t know about Ashly in this week’s blog.
What Does Singing, Waffle Chips, and Germany have in Common?
Here are just a few things we love about Ashly, and know you will too.
What is your favorite hobby outside of the office:
“I love to bake, I love the creativity! I also love to sing, I am in my church choir. As many of you know I can frequently be seen singing along to the radio right at the front desk!”
What is your favorite food?
“Cape Cod Waffle potato chips. They are better than the regular chips because they don’t leave your fingers greasy. My husband and I even visited the Cape Cod chip factory in 2013.
What is your favorite book?
“To Kill a Mockingbird!” I love it so much that I wanted to name my cats after characters in the book, but my husband wouldn’t allow the name “Jim” but he went along with the name “Scout”.
If you had to eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
“Pizza, especially homemade ones. Or wings, I am from Buffalo!”
People would be surprised if they knew…
“That I am the youngest of seven children!”
If money wasn’t a factor, where would you vacation?
“Germany, because of my ancestry, and I love beer and bratwurst!”
If you could meet anyone from history, who would it be and why?
Abigail Adams, because she was a particularly strong woman behind a strong man!
Tid bit of information for those with inquiring minds, Abigail Adams was the first, first lady, to live in the White House; she moved into the unfinished mansion in November 1800.
That’s a Wrap!
We love Ashly for her positive attitude and the atmosphere she brings to our office! We hope her spotlight has been as fun and informative for you as it has been for us! Let us know if you’ve been lucky enough to catch her singing at the front desk!
